Memberships

A membership site platform built around your community

Paid tiers, courses, live sessions, and a real community in one branded hub, so members get ongoing value and a reason to stay.

In short

A membership site platform runs your paid membership in one place: member accounts, access by tier, recurring payments, and the content and community people join for.

When courses, live sessions, and the community share one hub, members have more reasons to stay, and you have fewer tools to manage. The screen shown here is a real E-STAGE community feed, set up with an example business and members.

What’s included

Everything a membership runs on

Paid tiers

Offer free and paid levels with gated content, and manage every member from one organized dashboard.

Access by tier

Lessons, replays, and spaces open to the right members automatically, based on the tier they joined. Each private channel can approve members automatically, by tag, or by hand after a few questions.

A community inside

Members post, share video, answer polls, and earn points and streaks for showing up, which is what keeps a membership alive.

Live sessions and replays

Go live from the community or run workshops in your own branded rooms, and keep the replays in the members area.

Courses in the same place

Package your method into video courses and include them in a tier, instead of sending members to another tool.

CRM and email built in

Tag new members, send a welcome sequence, and reach out to people who go quiet, from the same system.

How it works

From idea to first members

  1. 1

    Decide what members pay for

Content, community, live access, or a mix. Start with one clear promise.

  2. 2

    Build the space

Create the pages, tiers, first lessons, and a welcome post. Genesis, the AI builder, helps with the design.

  3. 3

    Open to founding members

Invite a small group first, gather feedback, then open the doors wider.

Inside the platform

What it looks like in E-STAGE

    Courses inside the membership

Members open your courses in the same community. Modules on the left, the lesson video on the right, progress at the top, and a Discussion tab on every lesson.

Every member is also a contact

The CRM Hub Overview counts new leads, customers, contacts, and community members side by side, and follows the journey from visitor to lead, customer, activated member, and referrer.

  3. E-STAGE Genesis project modules: Blog, Community, Marketing Funnels and CRM

    One project, all the pieces

Your site, the community, marketing funnels, and the CRM are modules of the same E-STAGE Genesis project, so members, pages, and emails stay connected.

Good to know

Before you decide

  • A membership keeps paying only while members see ongoing value. Plan your rhythm of live sessions and new content before you set the price.
  • Moving an existing membership from another platform takes planning: member data, access, and billing. Do it in stages.
  • Available features can depend on your plan. Confirm what is included for your own account before you launch.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a membership site platform?

Software that runs a paid membership for you: member accounts, access by tier, recurring payments, and the content or community people pay for.

What should I look for in a membership site builder?

Tiers and access control, recurring payments, good video and live sessions, a built-in community, email automations, and pages that carry your own brand.

Can I have free and paid members?

Yes. A common setup is a free tier to welcome people and one or more paid tiers with courses, live sessions, or smaller groups.

How do I keep members engaged?

Give them reasons to come back: live sessions, new lessons, and a feed where they can post. In an E-STAGE community, points, streaks, and levels also reward members who keep showing up.

Can different groups have their own space?

Yes. Since October 2026 each channel in an E-STAGE community has its own rules: who can join (automatic, by tag, or manual approval with questions), a legal agreement to sign, its own stories, feed topics, and about page. E-STAGE said you can run up to 20 channels at no extra cost; confirm the limit in your account. Members join the main community first, then the channels.

Do I need a big audience to start?

No. Many memberships start with a small group of founding members. A strong first ten matter more than a large, quiet list.
